Herbal Hair Coloring to Remove Gray

My family and friends as well as my husband and I have been using this formula for over four years.  This formula will bring your hair back to it's natural color as well as get rid of the gray.

INGREDIENTS

2 C. Distilled bottled water

1 c. Rosemarry (can be found in most grocery stores in the produced department.  Comes in small packages and you will need two of them)

1 Lg or med bottle of baby shampoo (Dollar Store brand ok).

Put the water and rosemary (stems and all) in a microwave safe bowl (I use a plastic 12 c. measuring cup) and nuke for about 5 minutes or until water boils.  Remove from microwave and cover and allow to steep for 5 minutes.  Remove rosemary and disgard.  Add shampoo and mix throughly.  Will make two bottles of shampoo.  The shampoo will be thin and will not suds up on the first time of use because of the previous hair products you have used and also if your hair is dirty or oily.  But when you shampoo again it will have more suds then you can imagine.  The shampoo strips all the residue from products and enviornment without stripping the natural oils found in your hair.  You will notice after about a week that your hair will stay cleaner and if you have gray in your hair it will be gone.  You may also have to have your hair cut more often because it also makes your hair grow.  I have to get my hair cut once a month where as before it was every three months.  My mother, who is 83, uses this shampoo and has no gray hair.  Some close friends of our also use it, he is bald on top and has notice hair starting to grow back.

Another one is if you wish to have blond hair for the summer you can use chamomile tea.  Simply make a tea and wet your hair with it and go out in the sun.  You will notice a gradual change in your color.  You can also use the same recipe as above but substitute chamomile tea for the rosemary.

The shampoo will turn your hair back to it's original color turning your white hairs to your natural color. So if your hair is black, your white hair will turn black. It's not coloring, it just turns it back to the color and texture that you had before and then some.

I never had curly hair although it ran in my family but the longer I used the shampoo the curlier my hair got. I have always had natural wavy hair but never curly.

Is there anyone out there that can say this worked for them?

Angela: I understand you have to use distilled water to prepare the shampoo. Do you have to use distilled water in the bathtub or shower every time you wet your hair and lather and rinse? You've described many friends and relatives who have been successful with your rosemary shampoo; do they all have well water in their homes?

Angela: I commented before about chlorinated tap water and distilled water, and I'm still confused. I assure you that I'm crystal clear about the importance of using distilled water to steep the rosemary and prepare the shampoo. However, I asked whether all your successful users who are friends and relatives happen to have well water in their homes. I asked whether it is necessary to avoid chlorinated tap water in the tub or shower to wet and rinse the hair. You replied "no only when you are making the shampoo." Now I'm perplexed by your answer to RAK from an asian country who asked if he can use chlorinated water in his tap to shampoo, and you stated "chlorinated water will change the compounds in the rosemary, you must use distilled water. NO CHLORINATED WATER." Also, Mark from Australia wrote you "Happy with distilled for shampoo but will it still work with chlorinated shower water?" and you replied: "Chlorinated water changes the herbs, rosemary. That's why you use distilled water." So, in the final analysis, is this conveniently useful only to those who happen to have chlorine-free water (well water) supplying their homes? Are the many of us in homes with commonplace chlorinated tap water to conclude that this will be successful for us only if we wet and shampoo and rinse with DISTILLED water using bottles and cups and buckets? Are all of your successful users on well water? Are any of your successful users wetting the hair with chlorinated tap water, lathering with shampoo PREPARED WITH DISTILLED WATER and then rinsing with chlorinated tap water? I've tried this personally in a home with well water; no success after weeks. I bought rosemary from the grocery store and followed your instructions carefully. I did use skewers of rosemary and cut them up; did not use packets. I wonder if this is significant. You cut rosemary from your own plants. I wonder if freshly cut rosemary is the key. Do any of your success stories involve rosemary from a grocery store? Perhaps if I try again I should grow rosemary at home and steep it IN DISTILLED WATER immediately after cutting. We've moved and now our city water is chlorinated, so I don't know whether I can do this successfully without wetting the hair and rinsing the hair with bottled distilled water. I'm fascinated by your reports of many successes from people of your acquaintance and the total absence of reported success by anyone who is a stranger to you. Many thanks.

I am so sorry for not answering sooner. I've been sick and had to have surgery on a nerve in my elbow.

Yes you can use chlorinated water for shampooing your hair it only has to be distilled when you are mixing.

has anyone got this to work?

Angela: I've tried this; no success. Seems like success has come only to your friends and relatives. It looks like in all those cases you prepared the shampoo yourself and gave them bottles. You said that you cut rosemary from your plant at home and put it right into the pot to prepare this. Is it possible that fresh rosemary purchased from the grocery store doesn't work; that it has to be cut immediately before steeping? Has anyone had success with a bottle of shampoo which you did not prepare personally and give away?

Can you use liquid rosemary or does it have to be fresh?
